Senior Project Manager
Chris Kontur
About me
Chris is a Senior Project Manager at Medical Construction Group (MCG) with more than 35 years of experience across construction and development, including residential, commercial, aviation, and industrial projects. He is recognized for technical strength, hands-on leadership, and dependable execution—guiding teams from early planning through closeout with disciplined project controls.
Chris began building his contracting foundation in 1989 when he founded CPK Construction. What started as a residential trim and cabinetmaking company grew under his direction into a broader construction platform delivering commercial work, aviation facility upgrades, industrial scopes, and Owner’s Representative services. That progression shaped his ability to bridge field realities with management-level oversight and decision-making.
In 2005, Chris transitioned into corporate aviation as Vice President of Properties for Mercury Air Centers and Corporate Wings. In that role, he led capital development and renovation initiatives across multiple locations nationwide, managing more than $40 million in capital investment over three years. His leadership in executing strategic upgrades contributed to the successful sale of Mercury Air Centers in 2007.
Chris is also the founder of Vesta One, LLC, a real estate investment company, and CPK Enterprises, an equipment leasing firm—experience that adds financial and operational perspective to his evaluation of scope, risk, and long-term value.
